Is your name Shackleton?

The London Orchard Project

The London Orchard Project

Are you called Shackleton? Do you think you can live up to your name?

Why not take on the ‘My Antarctic’ challenge to prove you can?

This challenge invites you to tackle your fears and match the courage and determination of Sir Ernest Shackleton for just one day.

It is based around the idea that everyone has an Antarctic: something they would love to achieve but are afraid to try. This could be anything! From putting on a public singing performance, retaking a maths GCSE, learning to swim, skydiving, or even modelling for a life drawing class!

The aim is to get 1000 people to take on their Antarctics and raise a personal target of £200 for the Shackleton Foundation. Every single penny of every single challenge goes to incredible social leaders, tackling some of the biggest problems in our society, from rehabilitating young offenders to inspiring young people to make the most of their lives.

There are also special prizes offered for those called Shackleton who take up the My Antarctic challenge.
