The Shackleton Foundation is pleased to present ‘In the Footsteps of Polar Giants’, a lecture by Henry Worsley at the Royal Geographic Society on Tuesday 23rd April.

Travel in the footsteps of Shackleton, Scott and Amundsen across the Ross Ice Shelf, up the Axel Heiberg and Beardmore glaciers and over the polar plateau – through the film, diaries and photos of the original journeys juxtaposed with the modern centenary expeditions of Henry Worsley, the only person ever to have retraced both those original routes to the South Pole.

Tickets cost £20 and all proceeds from the lecture will go towards the Shackleton Foundation.

Tickets can be bought from: http://antarcticlecture.bpt.me or tickets@shackletonfoundation.org
